Ingle's day job is freelance copy-writer: he has written scripts, speeches, business documents and web-copy for a wide range of institutions and businesses including the Australian Catholic University, Ernst and Young, Dimmi booking services, Association of Blind Citizens and Loan Market Group and Diabetes NSW.
A distinguished dramatist, Ingle has twice won the WA Premier's Book Awards for best script. The first was for his adaptation of Elizabeth Jolley's Milk and Honey in 2000. The second was for The Fremantle Candidate in 2012. In the same year he won the Richard Burton Playwriting Award for his multi-award-winning play Taking Liberty about Australia's winning the America's Cup.
He's also an actor: in theatre (over 50 professional productions) film (three features) and multiple television roles.
He's written and performed two highly successful solo shows, The Getaway Bus and The Exploding Breakfast, both of which toured nationally and internationally.
If you're looking for a one-stop-shop solution to all your professional writing requirements such as:
writing a speech (or to help you write your own) that will engage your audience while letting them know what they need to know
giving your website blurb a little panache without sounding like an over-excited teenager
or to give some readability to dry corporate prose
With his experience as a successful playwright, actor and a leading expert in the relationship between narrative and the emotions, Ingle can teach you how to write, speak and think clearly with style and verve.
